My mixed media painting "Amethyst Shores" is one of 193 paintings out of 354 submissions to be juried into the Carlsbad/Oceanside Art League's Annual Open Show 2011.  This is very encouraging, as it is the first time I have entered one of my paintings into a juried show. 

The show runs from August 3 - September 4, 2011 at the COAL Gallery at Village Faire, 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, CA.  If you're in the area be sure to stop by and see all the wonderful art on exhibit by many talented local artists.
